The meetings in 2005 are as follows:
National A Meeting Saturday 14th May 2005
Sponsored by Bateman BMW
This is a round of the MSA Nicholson - McLaren National Hillclimb Championship. At this meeting, expect the country's top exponents of the art of Speed Hillclimbing - the Formula One of the sport.
National B Meeting Saturday 18th June 2005
Co-sponsors: Norjac of Carnforth - Mitsubishi dealers
This meeting is included in the Wigton Motor Club Northern Speed Championship, the Longton & District Motor Club Sprint & Hillclimb Championship and the Morgan Speed Championship. A broader mix of vehicles than the May meeting, this is Club competition at its best. Single-seaters, sports cars, saloons, rally cars and even a class for diesels for the first time this year.
The Percy Duff Barbon Speed Hiilclimb
Saturday 30th July 2005 for Motorcycles, 3-wheelers and quads
Sponsors: Lancaster Honda
This is a round of the National Hillclimb Championship. Solo motorcycles cover anything from the 1920's to the fastest of today's superbikes, but expect a few surprises - those "old" ex-motocrossers can embarrass the best. 3-wheelers include not only the traditional concept of a sidecar outfit but also machines that wouldn't look out of place in Bladerunner. And now, we also have that further anomaly - the four-wheeled motorbike, the farmer's new friend, the quad. In 2004, the class appeared in the programme for the first time with a single entrant. Now word has had time to percolate through the Quad fraternity, the Westmorland Motor Club hopes to see a few more along to play this year.....

Are you feeling public-spirited enough to help advertise our meetings? If so, please feel free to download and print off the car window banners or posters, below. The Club would be most grateful for any exposure absolutely anywhere. In fact, if your attention to our meetings was drawn by a poster or banner in a most improbable place, do let us know either on the day or by e-mail. It might be worth a ticket refund or special mention on the PA!
