Entries now open for the Sporty Boys Trial, Adult only event on the 26th September...

Entries are now open for the Sporty Boys Trial on the 26th September, this is a "PRE ENTRY" event closing on the 24th September or when full. The trial will be close to the usual format of 3 laps of 15 sections. The event will have 3 courses Hard, Green and Easy, with a mixture of Rocks, Streams and Climbs. The entry fee is only £15 for this very popular event (late entries on the day should they be available will be £20) Martha will be in attendance for all your refreshment need’s. Trials update for Howie Cup and Sporty Boys 2010

The Howie Cup Trial will now start at Borrowbeck, although a small venue, the scope for sections is superb. The club has worked hard to get a venue for this trial, and it will be a busy period as we also have the County Show to set up and a trial between Tuesday and Saturday night, all help well received. Although a major part of the land used for the Sporty Boys has changed hands, the club are pleased to announce permissions have been given and all should go ahead as normal, this will be a pre entry event and will only be open to all adult classes. Probably 3 laps of 15 sections, but if observers are forthcoming we will make it 2 laps of 20 sections, the choice is yours. Regs and entry forms available very soon from here or trials central. Many thanks to Browny and Bing for securing the land for these trials, but we are on probation at the Sporty Boys land so you will have to be on best behavior, anyone not doing, will not receive a warning but instruction to load up and go home, be warned....

Help needed for the Westmorland County Show on the 9th Sept

Westmorland Motor Club will again attend the county show, we will be setting up on Wednesday and early Thursday morning, have you maybe something to go on the stand to show of interest? if you have or wish to help set up or man the stand on the day feel free to contact us, best point of contact will be Andrew Bingley or Peter Brown. It was a fun day last year and brilliant weather, hopefully we can have the same this year....

John Wren Motorcycles Howie Cup Trial

*** CHANGE OF VENUE *** This trial will now start at Borrowbeck, because the Longsleddale church are having a gathering for the celebration of the new roof, which the club also contributed too, we are invited! but not for a trial... as they will be using the start field to park everyone. The trial will start at 10am and will run three routes, Hard, Green and Easy. Although this is a small venue and will be a small loop, dont let that put you off... We visited the venue on the 18th August and the potential for sections are superb and this trial section wise will definately be one of the best this year, hopefully the beck will stay low and allow us full use of the venue. Probably 12 sections and 4 laps, it will cater for all adult and youth classes. Really dont miss this trial, it will be very good....

Triple D Motosport Grant Cup Trial

Details

This event has suffered land loss and will run as a 15 section 3 lap type of trial, with this in mind it will be enter on the day and will start at 10am. The trial will be flagged from the Kirkby Stephen end of the A683 Kirkby Stephen to Sedbergh road, where it meets with the A685. This is the Fat Lamb road but the trial does not start at the usual place. Hard Green and Easy route are planned and it should be a good day. Arrive early and get entries sorted, should you have a willing observer, please bring them along, usual goody bag, bottle of wine or chocolates and a hot bun and brew from Martha......

Ravenstonedale (Grant Cup)

Directions: Follow A685 either from Kirkby Stephen or Tebay till you meet with the junction of the A685/A683 Kirkby Stephen to Sedbergh road, follow the A683 towards Sedbergh for approx 2 miles where you will turn left. The start area is to be found on the right after approx 2 miles. Trial will be flagged from the A685/A683 juncton.
