Welcome to Westmorland Motor Club

The Westmorland Motor Club was founded in 1910 and runs Hill Climbs, Trials and Hare & Hound events for cars and motorbikes. Events are run throughout the year. The club is affiliated to Auto-Cycle Union Ltd and Motor Sports Association.

Spectators are welcome at all of the clubs events. Like all motor sport events, the events held by Westmorland Motor Club are potentially dangerous, so spectators are asked to follow the instructions of course marshalls and staff at all times. For details of the events, see the Events page.

Welcome to the new Westmorland Motor Club website

Well it's taken us a hundred years to get here... but the club is proud to now have an up to date new website with which to enter our next 100 years of motorsport. We hope to keep it up to date and full of news and events as they happen. As we develop the site, more features, and in particular member features, will become available. We hope you like what you see and have enjoyment using it; we also hope that you will help to keep it up to date with news and articles you may have of interest. Although in its infancy, there are sure to be little teething problems initially, but bear with us and we will get there... We hope to offer a simple forum for after events, bike and gear sales and, in time, entry online!! From all at Westmorland, we wish you a happy new year and have fun using the website. Just one last thing, we are sponsored by Triple D Motosport, Kendal and John Wren Motorcycles, Barrow and we hope where possible that you will support those that help us...
